Team XIII Go the Extra Mile
Team XIII handed over £1,000 each to three causes this week including GiveUsABreak 2010. The club's members raised a huge amount of cash from a charity ride carried out earlier this year, which saw the cyclists tackle the gruelling 112-mile Fred Whitton Challenge, beginning at Grasmere and snaking its way through the Lakes taking on its highest mountain passes

Get Naked in The Lakes
A group of local ladies got 'Naked in the Lakes' for a photo shoot
in aid of Give us a Break 2010. They are producing a 2016 calendar
which will cost £10 (inc P&P). To read more or to order a calendar please click here.
Fundraising reaches £200,000 A huge thank you to all of our supporters - your generosity has helped us achieve a milestone in our fundraising effort. Give Us A Break 2010 can now start to search for a suitable piece of land on which to build the RaynorShine Centre.
Thank you to Melissa Foster and the Young Professional Network at Morgan Sindall. They walked a total of 17 miles in one day around Buttermere, Crummock and Loweswater and raised over £1500 which was split between GUAB2010 and the British Heart Foundation.
Team ESKK conquer the Keswick 2 Barrow Walk
A team from ESKK Martial Arts & Fitness Club raised a massive £2600 in aid of GUAB2010 by completing the gruelling, 40 mile K2B Walk in May of this year. Click here or go to the Gallery to see photos and a report of their ordeal!
